Birmingham Day Nurseries: walking beside you every step of the way
Every day at nursery is another step on your child’s learning journey.
Whether your child is with us full-time or on selected mornings or afternoons, they’ll gain so much from their time at nursery. The imaginative range of activities they’ll experience are all great fun – but they’re also carefully planned to help your child learn and develop, step by step.
When they’re learning to listen properly, ask questions, or helping to plan excursions, your child is building their social skills, self-awareness and independence.
All those little daily lessons like washing their hands, getting regular exercise and taking care of their friends matter; they help your child think about staying safe and healthy.
Playing is learning too: motor skills and co-ordination when reaching for a toy; recall when joining in with an action song; forming relationships when taking turns or inventing a game together. Your child’s physical, social and emotional development will be supported and encouraged, every day.
“We feel he is cared for, well looked after and also encouraged in his development.” – Eva
At Birmingham Day Nurseries, we follow the government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework: the national standard for the learning, development and care of your child.
But, of course, you’ll want much more for you and your child than just what’s expected. Extra activities offer exciting opportunities to try something new, with a regular programme of music, dance and drama, yoga and more, and seasonal activities like tennis in the summer. The Forest Schools and Sensory Rooms both provide something truly special too.
“We love the warm, happy and friendly environment. The enthusiastic, loving team emphasise outdoor play and fun.” – Megan
Your child is an individual, and we’ll treat them like one. They’ll have support to develop at their own pace, make friends, play, learn, feel valued, and most importantly enjoy their day.
